In honor of International Women’s Day, we’re thrilled to share the trailer for eOne’s upcoming documentary series for National Geographic, Impact. Executive produced by Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, and directed by Oscar-winner Vanessa Roth (Freeheld) the six-part series follows inspiring women from around the world who overcome obstacles and do extraordinary things to make an impact in their communities.

Throughout the series you’ll meet women like Arianna, a 19-year-old college student who created a water filtration system for Puerto Ricans still dealing with the devastation left by Hurricane Maria; and Tuany, a 23-year-old ballet dancer who started a dance company for girls in one of Rio de Janeiro’s most dangerous favelas.

Impact premieres April 19 across Nat Geo’s digital and social platforms and will culminate with a full-length documentary special airing on the National Geographic channel globally in June.
