Hasbro’s Life in Reterra recognized with a 2024 Leadership Award from the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC)!
Life in Reterra, a tile-laying strategy board game released earlier this year under Hasbro’s Avalon Hill brand, has been recognized with a 2024 Leadership Award from the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) – the first-ever board game to receive the honor. The award recognizes excellence across industries in the use of FSC®-certified products and materials, a commitment to responsible forest management, as well as advocacy and leadership in the FSC community.
Created by award-winning game designers Eric Lang and Ken Gruhl, Life in Reterra is a community (re)building game that explores themes of sustainability – and also happens to include FSC®-certified packaging. The FSC® label means that the materials used in Life in Reterra come from well-managed FSC®-certified forests, recycled materials, and other controlled sources.
The Forest Stewardship Council® is an international nongovernmental organization that promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests. To learn more, visit www.fsc.org
