Hasbro’s Sustainability Center of Excellence focuses its environmental efforts in three key areas: reducing the environmental impacts of products and packaging, partnering with vendors to source and distribute Hasbro products in an environmentally conscious way, and minimizing the environmental footprint of operations. Building on its commitment to environmental sustainability, Hasbro recently announced new 2025 goals, including:
- Reduce waste to landfill at owned/operated facilities by 50 percent, based on a 2015 baseline year.
- Reduce water consumption at owned/operated facilities by 15 percent, based on a 2015 baseline year.
- Reduce energy consumption at owned/operated facilities by 20 percent, based on a 2015 baseline year.
- Reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at owned/operated facilities by 20 percent, based on a 2015 baseline year.
